80 Thoreau boasts a one-hundred-bottle list focused primarily on ‘Old World’ producing regions as well as the United States. The list offers significant depth of the most popular varietals while leaving room for exploration. Little known varietals auxerois, susumaniello, and tannat fill out the list and provide a new experience for many wine lovers. Twenty half bottles encourage diners to pair as they go.
In addition to the working list rare wines are available from a fifty-bottle collection comprised mainly of California cabernet, Bordeaux, and Rhône wine. The reserve list includes vintages dating back to 1982 and features wines from some of the world’s most renowned vineyard sites and producers.
